So, this Monday I was supposed to fly to Malaga (Spain) for a holiday with my friend. We booked a Ryanair flight from Eindhoven and a lovely place to stay at an Airbnb place. I was looking forward to this trip for weeks: finally a break from daily working life and some relaxation in the sun. However, when trying to check-in the evening before departure, we got a notification that there was some trouble with our flight. Continue reading “Times are tough, but we are tougher”
As I’ve studied in Ireland, I’ve come to get to know the country quite well. I’ve gone back after my studies for a roadtrip with my parents and two weeks ago I went back again with friends! Ofcourse I was super excited, cause going to Ireland feels like coming back home :) This time it was not to go back to Galway (where I studied) or to explore new places. It was just for a citytrip to Dublin! Ryanair had a nice price promotion (as you might know, I love finding good deals!), departing from a new airport: Amsterdam! Continue reading “Dublin Citytrip!”
Anyone who knows me knows my love for Ireland. Is it the the green calm landscapes? Is it the joyful Irish music? Is it the welcoming people with their awesome accents? It’s hard to say, I just get a very special feeling in this country… (and even when just thinking about it!) As my mom and dad couldn’t visit me when I was there, we decided to go there again so I could show them around where I lived, went to college and visit the countryside.
During my study abroad I already travelled around a lot, so I got to know some of the most beautiful spots in the country! Continue reading “12 tips for a great roadtrip through the wonderful country of Ireland”
Last week I’ve travelled to Normandy, France with 3 other friends to visit a friend that was working there at a campsite. We rented a car to make an 11-hour drive to get there, everything went pretty well and we really had a happy moment when crossing the Pont de Normandy, Tomorrowland music was playing on the radio so we had a great party in the car!
We were able to stay in the mobile home of my friend, which was pretty nice because the weather wasn’t too good for the first 2 days. I loved my time there, cause it was an ideal place to relax and not worry about the things back home (no good Wi-Fi too). It was a holiday where we kind of acted like old people cause what we mostly did was reading, walking, visiting cute towns, taking naps and we even played bingo! But what I most enjoyed is was that it reminded me of the amazing holidays I’ve had with my parents and brother while growing up… Continue reading “Vive la France!”
